Know more.  Do better.

The other night my husband and I had the pleasure of baby sitting our great nephew. It was his parent's first date night:). Oh, I remember those days!   We pulled out our old baby stroller from the attic that hadn't been used in decades. Cleaned off the frame.  Vacuumed the fabric.  Checked the brake and tightened the harness on him.  We went for a lovely spring walk pointing out the sounds and sights of spring to him.
He is at an age where he is sampling finger foods so when we got home we thought we would give it a try and have dinner.  Between him trying to get a banana in his mouth - as fast as possible,  and some of our steamed veggies  into his mouth - as fast as possible; and then me helping him wash it down with a sippy cup of water (quite possibly his first sippy cup as he is breast-fed and it leaked out down his front) well, he was COVERED with food!  In his hair, his nose, the creases of his neck and up his arms!  So in the tub he went.  How is it possible that you forget how slippery these little guys are in a bathtub in just 20 years!

When we babysit our great nieces and nephews we make sure they are safe in every way and that includes bath time. This little guy became Beautycounter clean with the brand that counters the industry, and puts in only ingredients that test safe and are effective. No stinging eyes, no rash, no fragrances, no added chemicals to get in his bloodstream and possibly cause serious illnesses - simple and clean skincare.  There was no way I would use anything  on this precious boy that I knew had toxic ingredients in it.  My motto I've adopted in life:  Know more.  Do better.  And boy did he love his soothing oil massage afterwards!
